Santuario Di Oropa Hostel - Biella

We had a fantastic time at this peaceful and beautiful retreat. The location was breathtaking, with stunning mountain views and plenty of hiking trails nearby. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with an excellent shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were several on-site restaurants to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the local artisanal products served at Canal Secco. The peacefulness and serenity of the surroundings made it difficult to leave.

We arrived after reception had closed and had some difficulty finding our room and baggage.

I chose this hotel for attending a conference and was pleased with the two conference rooms available. They were well-equipped with audio-video equipment and provided everything I needed for a successful event.

The only service I missed for my work was a business center. It would have been convenient to have a dedicated space with computers and printing facilities to handle any last-minute work requirements.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with beautiful antique furniture and artwork that gave it a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were also well-maintained and clean, making it easy for senior people like myself to navigate and enjoy. I especially loved the accessible ramps and elevators that made it convenient for me to move around without any difficulties.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the staff to be a bit more accommodating and understanding of our needs. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and not as attentive as they could have been.

Great views and a peaceful atmosphere were the only good things about this place. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful sights and plenty of restaurants and bars. Plus, there was ample free parking available, although you had to grab a spot quickly before it got crowded.

The check-in process was confusing and took us a while to find the office. The bed was ridiculously noisy, making loud creaking sounds whenever you moved.
